New Spiegel Sans fonts, free vintage fonts
Update for the Spiegel family
Our American-style gothic with a subtle humanistic touch has grown and matured and we are thrilled to introduce the first part of it — the all-new Spiegel Sans.
12 styles became 32 styles, the condensed width became more condensed, the normal width became more spacious, we made lots of improvements, and we changed the name from Spiegel to Spiegel Sans.
Why Spiegel Sans? Because a new addition to the Spiegel family is in the oven and will be coming out soon, Spiegel Slab.
Spiegel Sans is a completely new family, so don’t expect it to be backward compatible with former Spiegel fonts. Have a look at Spiegel Sans in use, take our trial fonts for a spin, or, if you are already convinced, buy Spiegel Sans!
Customers who license all of the styles also receive the whole family packaged neatly into two variable fonts: one for roman and one for italic.
If you are eager to learn more about Spiegel the font, Spiegel the magazine, and the changes in printing technology, then we have an in-depth article for you.
Free vintage fonts
We also launched a new version of our FontFabrik® website, where you can indulge in vintage aesthetics and download some of our fun fonts for free. Enjoy!
