In 2013, ARD launched redesigns for five websites: ARD.de, Tagesschau.de, Sportschau.de, Boerse.ARD.de, and DasErste.de. While the ARD network and its daily news broadcast Tagesschau had been using fonts designed by Luc(as) de Groot for a long time, these redesign were the first time that the main text on ARD’s websites was set with TheSans webfonts, too.
